Sat 12th saw strong winds and rough seas but our charter boat skippers braved the conditions to take us out to the banks and the southern humps for some good bottom bashing action.
The boys on board escape(heads fishos) fished hard for an esky full of snapper ,mowies,pigs ,flatties and gurnards. No surface fish could be found except seals and whales. Every one arrived home safe with the weigh in in the heads hotel beer garden over looking our beautiful river .
The ingleburn boys went out on johny normans boat and had ahard time locating the fish like us but in the end they out fished us to win the day by 6kg . results . Ingleburn 22.5kg to heads fishos 16.5kg .
Well done to all involved and thanks to the Ingleburn boys for cooking up a storm on the BBQ sat night .
