The Shoalhaven Heads Hotel offers its customers a number of options to relax and enjoy a drink with family and friends. The Main Bar offers a friendly atmosphere overlooking the magnificent Shoalhaven River. The Sports Bar offers full racing coverage with full TAB facilities for your enjoyment and entertainment plus a brand new outdoor smoking courtyard with fireplace. Our newly renovated Lounge bar boasts leather lounges and cushions, and a combustion woodfire to warm up next to If a game of pool is more in your line then relax and enjoy a game on our competition pool table, its all there for your enjoyment, along with a free ping-pong table in the Lounge Or why not soak up the views from our shaded family friendly beer garden and terrace overlooking the River. Happy Hours Mon - Sat 10am - 11am Mon - Thurs 4pm - 5pm On the first Sunday after New Year the Heads Hotel is the venue for the Annual Charity Day which seeks to raise funds for local groups. VISITOR INFORMATION   |
Surfing, swimming, fishing, bush walks in the Seven Mile Beach National Park or a jog along the beach are all part of the attraction of Shoalhaven Heads. Located just to the north of the mouth of the Shoalhaven River, it enjoys seven miles of sandy beach, a surf area and the quieter waters of the river. There are fish to be caught in the river and ocean, while the surf here is some of the best on the South Coast of New South Wales for both body and board surfers, all year around. The local surf life saving club provides beach patrols in the main holiday season. The local golf course is being extended from 15 to 18 holes and tennis courts are available for hire. You can visit the Shoalhaven Heads Golf Club website here Shoalhaven Heads boasts an International Design Standard Skate Park for the kids to enjoy whilst Mum & Dad just sit back and relax. Our local public swimming pool opens from October to Easter and has a full sized pool, toddler pool and the main pool has disabled access equipment to access the water. |
