SHOALHAVEN HEADS HOTEL FISHING CLUB
The Fishing Club considers itself to be a family-friendly based club, with the goal of getting the whole family to enjoy fishing. The club is very involved in the Shoalhaven Heads community and holds fundraisers throughout the year to benefit local charities and organizations.
Our members have a wealth of knowledge which they are only too happy to share on such topics as: Catching worms on the beach and all types of fishing techniques for beach, Rock, Deep Sea, Pier, Estuary and boat fishing. What baits, rods, line and tackle to use for different species of fish. The club also arranges for courses during the year for obtaining General Boat &/or PWC Licences, this is for Adults/Juniors/ members and non-members.
The club also has a social cook-off, this is where the men of the club get to show their individual cooking skills and levels. We accept memberships from all over the state, as we have many visitors that come to ‘The Illawarra’ for specific events and stay to enjoy the fishing.
